Lowpro 12/8 Footway Trench Cover 1200mm x 800mm

The LowPro 12/8 is the latest addition to the growing range of excellent trench covers from Oxford Plastics. It can span trenches up to 700mm wide and has a load-bearing capacity of 400kg. As a footway board, it is perfectly suited to use on pavements, if placing across a driveway then a 15/10 should be used.

• Designed to be walked over and therefore features a strong, textured upper surface which provides good grip for pedestrians and prevents the likelihood of trips and slips
• New anti-slide rubber edges grips the surface of tarmac allowing the board to be used without being bolted down or pinned in many applications. This saves time and means there is no additional patching necessary after jobs (for example filling in bolt holes)
• 700mm span provides suitability for most common trench sizes carried out in pedestrian areas
• High weight-bearing capacity (400kg) allows the board to support vehicles weighing up to 1.6T, so long as only one wheel is on any single board
• Link panels are available should users need to cover longer trenches – the LowPro 12/8 is 100% compatible with the new LowPro Infill Panels. Users can link multiple boards together securely while smoothing the joint, greatly reducing trip hazards
• Can be easily moved and installed by a single worker without additional lifting gear
• Fully compliant with DETR ‘Safety at street works and road works code of practice” and HAUC’s 2018/1 advice note
• Covers are supplied pre-drilled with gas vent holes and probe locations for inspection
• Shock resistance prevents the cover from shattering when loaded abruptly or subjected to impact
